Screen Shot 2015-07-16 at 9.25.12 PMBoth rivers are open for tubing in New Braunfels, so come out to the Texas Hill Country and take a relaxing float on the Comal or Guadalupe River. Tubing draws in visitors from all around the state, and it’s a great way to soak up some vitamin D.

Check out Texas Tubes in New Braunfels, where you can have a great time on the 72-degree clear Comal River. If you’re daring, steal away into a tube chute — a part where the water diverts into a channel. Otherwise, the river ride is calm and relaxing. Texas Tubes rents out tubes and ice chests to carry your favorite beverages. Their shuttle will take you from where you get out back to the entrance.

If you’re ready to jump into the Guadalupe River, check out Rockin’ R, where you can rent a tube, raft, SUP or party barge. Don’t worry about transportation. Their bus will take you from where you get out at the end of your tubing ride back to the entrance. Their rentals are available at six locations in New Braunfels, so visit their website to find a location near you.
