Take a break this Labor Day and spend the weekend in New Braunfels. Book now with Hill Country Cottage and RV Resort before spots fill! There is plenty to do and see in New Braunfels this September, but here are a few ideas.
Show off your competitive side and participate in the SARR Labor Day 5-mile Whine Run, Monday, September 7 at 7:30 a.m. at Dry Comal Creek Winery. Have fun walking or running, or compete for an award in your division. The awards ceremony starts at 9:30 a.m. At the finish line, you can enjoy Dry Comal Creek Vineyards wines and sip to your success. For more information and to register, visit the event’s website.
Cool off at Schlitterbahn Water Park. If you want to come out a bit before Labor Day, you can catch Blast and Save Days from Monday – Friday August 24 – 28. The Blastenhoff Park will be open for the last weekdays of the summer, so say goodbye with a big splash! Blastenhoff is the flagship park, home to the award-winning Master Blaster — an uphill water coaster. Blastenhoff will be open every day that week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Schlitterbahn is open weekends through Sunday September 20.
Enjoy live music at Whitewater Amphitheater as the Randy Rodgers Band takes the stage on Sunday, September 6. This country group is from Texas and has recorded six albums, producing seven singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. To purchase tickets, visit the venue’s website.
